 BAY AREA CENTRAL VACUUM SYSTEM.

510-427-4599

If there were more than 5 stars, I would use them.  I called early in the morning and Julio picked up, no message, no I'll call you back.  He asked about my problem and location and said he could come out that afternoon (yes, same day).  He told me later he's not always able to do same day, but pretty close.  He showed up exactly when he said he could, diagnosed my 30-year old central vac's multiple problems and got to work fixing them all (outlets, duct work screw ups by an electrician, clogs, hoses, you name it).  He had all of the parts needed on his truck, including duct work.  All done in two, yes two, hours and for an incredibly reasonable price.  He's friendly and helpful too (he taught me how to use my central vac hose the right way so it would not become damaged).  Oh, and I live out the middle of nowhere and that didn't phase him either.  I can't say enough about Julio and this business.  If you have a central vac or need one, don't hesitate to call.

Our Hayden Central Vac of 12 years started making painful noises and clearly needed attention.  I found Bay Area Central Vacuum Services on line and gave them a call.  Julio returned my call within 30 minutes and came the following day.  After careful diagnosis, he determined that the vac needed a new part.  Hayden no longer makes our model, so finding the part was not easy.  After much searching, Julio found the part out of state and installed it.  Our vac is now up a running again!  I would definitely call Julio again.  He was very experienced, professional, personable, timely and reasonably priced, and suggested trying to repair the vac we have rather than purchasing a new one.  Five-star service!

I have an old Hayden power brush attached to a central vacuum.  It was giving me intermittent problems at specific inlet valves, but not others.   Well, intermittent problems can be the worst and of course when he arrived, the problem did not immediately replicate itself.  Julio showed up on time, systematically checked each and every outlet,  and the power brush.  As it turns out, the issue was the power brush - so I have a new power brush, but he also checked and resolved any/all issues (such as an inlet door not closing) or missing gasket, he checked the canister and made sure the whole system is in good shape and should be trouble free.  His service charge was very competitive as was his pricing on all the parts (and not having to figure out from a web site what might or might not work).  Thank you Julio!

It took some research to find someone who knows Sequoias after the company shut down. I found three companies. Took a chance based on Julio's 1) great communication 2) background of being a long time worker w Sequoia 3) competitive service call fee. The check up and the clog, which was removed quickly by Lola (a mini strong vacuum), were done within an hour. Julio's attitude, knowledge of central vacuums, and cleaning of the filter was way worth the cost!

Vacuum cleaning is an essential part of modern living, but portable vacuum cleaners tend to be awkward. A  central vacuum cleaner, on the other hand, is the most powerful, most convenient, and easiest way to clean your home. A  central vacuum system provides you with

A clean you can trust, Lightweight control, The quiet way to clean, A healthier home environment.

CENTRAL VACUUM VS. PORTABLE: NO CONTEST

  • Unlike conventional vacuums that can recirculate dusty air, a  Central Vacuum System removes dirt and dust from the home.

  • Research has revealed that using a central vacuum system can improve indoor air quality and significantly reduce allergy symptoms.

  • No need to lift heavy vacuums, trip over cords or drag a portable canister around furniture causing damage. There's only a lightweight hose that gets in all the hard to reach places even under furniture!

  • Less hassle.  Central Vacuums have a self-cleaning filter that never needs to be replaced and a large capacity dirt bucket that only needs to be emptied about twice a year. Portable vacuums have filters that need to be replaced and bags that need to be emptied regularly.

THE RETRACTABLE HOSE CENTRAL VACUUM SYSTEM

Hide-A-Hose solves the problem of carrying and storing a central vacuum hose. You’ll never have to carry or store a bulky central vacuum hose again. Simply pull out the amount of hose you need from the inlet valve, connect your cleaning wand (with attachment) and begin vacuuming. When you’re finished, detach the cleaning wand from the hose and the suction from the central vacuum power unit retracts the hose into the SmartTube™ system hidden behind the wall. Hose lengths are customized according to the size of the floor. Each inlet can cover up to 2300 sq
